Showcase Your Talent at YAYA Music Fest 2025!


Do you have what it takes to take center stage? Whether you’re a seasoned performer or an aspiring artist, we want YOU to join us for a chance to perform on stage for YAYA 2025!

There will be three rounds of competition and only 1 winner

Prize: Hotel accommodations and traveling expenses paid (exclusion may apply), and 2 VIP tickets to the festival, plus the opportunity to perform on YAYA’s main stage on May 24, 2025, at the Fresno Fairgrounds in Fresno, CA.

Eligibility and Exclusion 

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Age Requirement: Participants must be at least 16 years old at the time of entry.

  • If the participant is under 18 years of age, they must be accompanied by a parent or guardian if they are chosen as the winner. Parent and/or guardian airfare costs will not be covered.  

Geographical Eligibility:

  • The competition is open to only participants currently residing in the United States.

Exclusions: 

  • Contestant who has previously released an album.

  • Contestant who is currently signed with a record label or is affiliated with a production agency.

Rounds

Preliminary Round: 

  • Prepare one song of your choice, cover or original. Performances on video should feature raw, live vocals—no studio recordings allowed.

  • Submit videos to the open form by Feb 21, 2025.

  • Up to 10 artists will be chosen by YAYA Staff to proceed to the Public Voting Round.

  • Preliminary contestants will be announced by Feb 24, 2025.

Public Voting Round: 

  • Prepare one song of your choice, cover or original. Performances on video should feature raw, live vocals—no studio recordings allowed.

  • Submit videos to the open form by Mar 7, 2025.

  • 3 artists will be chosen by the general public through popularity vote via Facebook likes to proceed to the Final Round.

  • Final contestants will be announced by Mar 14, 2025.

Final Voting Round: 

  • Prepare one original, unreleased song showcasing your creativity and talent. Performances on video should feature raw, live vocals—no studio recordings allowed.

  • Submit videos to the open form by Apr 11, 2025.

  • 1 artist will be chosen by the YAYA 2025 performing artists.

  • Competition winner will be announced by Apr 18, 2025.

Disclaimer: 

  • Dates are subjective to change based on number of contestants, however, rounds and judging criteria will remain the same.

  • Out-of-state winners will be responsible for arranging their own transportation between the hotel and the venue.

  • California residents who are not local to Fresno will be reimbursed for gas mileage.
